Handsum is run by Kobi Shoo, a sole trader in Queensland, Australia (trading as Handsum). This page explains what we collect and what we do with it, in plain English.
Your name, email, business details, and the jobs, quotes, invoices, receipts, price book and voice transcripts you put into Handsum.
When you record a voice note, the audio is sent securely to OpenAI to be turned into text. We do not save your audio recording. We keep the text transcript on your job so you can check it. OpenAI does not keep the audio and does not use it to train its AI.
The transcript text is sent to OpenAI to pull out job details such as client name, address and price. OpenAI may keep this text for up to 30 days for safety checks, and does not use it to train its models.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep basic billing records (dates and amounts) for 7 years for tax.
Airtable, Make, OpenAI, Stripe and DocsAutomator help us run Handsum. Your information passes through them only to provide the service. We do not sell your data.
We keep your data safely for 90 days so you can ask us for a copy or come back and pick up where you left off. After 90 days we delete your jobs, quotes, invoices, receipts, price book and voice transcripts. You can ask us to delete it sooner by emailing us.
Please export your records before you leave. The ATO requires businesses to keep tax records for 5 years, and that is your responsibility, not ours.
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing us.
